Come in a number of different forms depending on the person’s abilities and skills; Community homes (up to 24 hour support), Semi-Independent Living, renting or owning your own home or apartment with support and Homeshare.
Provide community living options for individuals with an intellectual disability allowing them the opportunity to enhance their skills and be active and included in their community. Our staff encourages the individuals to participate in all aspects of daily living such as meal preparation, housework and budgeting. Our goal is to ensure the residence is regarded as the "home" of the people who live there. At the present we have two homes in Morrisburg, two homes in Williamsburg, and two homes in Winchester.
Offers support to adults with an intellectual disability in a shared home arrangement. Enrich your life by sharing your home with someone who has an intellectual disability on either a full-time basis or for weekend visits or short stays. Accommodation support for adults with an intellectual disability who are more able to live independently but may still require guidance and support within their own home.
Provides parents and caregivers with an opportunity to renew themselves and people with an intellectual disability an opportunity to enjoy new experiences. Respite may come in several forms - in your home or out of your home.
